Well, in a day or two, I will have a copy of "The Kingdom of God Is Within You" (a. k. a. Politician Kryptonite), by Leo Tolstoy in the mail to Gregg Abbott. When he finishes the book, it will take about three days to fundamentally change him into a libertarian and maybe even a philosophical anarchist. If he does not ultimately pull out of the race for Texas Governor, it will alter his perception of his role as an elected official to such a degree that as Governor, assuming he gets elected, he will no longer be able to claim any moral authority for the violence of the state being imposed against any individual in the name of God.
His whole Law of Moses justification for state violence presupposition is about to be cut off him like the balls off a bull.
