"Idiocracy": The Movie

I remember watching a movie in California a few months ago, "Idiocracy."  It's a comedy about an army experiment wherein a soldier is put in suspended animation and is awakened something like 500 years into the future, as I remember.

He is not the sharpest guy to begin with, but he beats everything the future holds, hands down.  Major corporations own pretty much everything, and he becomes the President of the country after he gets the people to stop watering their crops with Gatorade, which allows the crops to grow, the crops no longer being bathed in the drink's salts.

As I look at the LP here in Texas, I see people who have been dumbed down over time.  They are actually choosing a leader in Kathy Glass, who has no idea what "liberty" is and is not.  It's sad and funny to watch.

"Liberty"/ "Freedom" is the Greek word, "elutheria" -- without liability or obligation.

"Enslaver" is the Greek word, "andrapodistes"  --  one who imposes a taxing of labor and/ or the intrinsic value of property, property being the physical manifestation of labor, upon uncondemned free persons.  It also has to do with numbering those uncondemned free persons as cattle.  (Sound Familiar?)

Karl Marx' ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto" has to do with enslaving a society in every capacity, including brainwashing children in day camps called, "free public schools."  Of course, nothing that is free is unpaid for.

I hope the LP can educate itself out of the "Idocracy."  I really do.
