The Major Cause of Violence

According to Leo Tolstoy, the major cause of violence in the world is the state, and I think he is right.  Think back to lynchings.  It was the state that allowed the powerful to centralize power around something called "the rule of law."  This allowed the powerful to instruct the sheriff  to do all kinds of violence in the name of the powerful.

Think of every issue you have, and I can assure you that there are not six degrees of separation between it and the state conception of life.

Swear not/ Do not take oaths (ends the state and all its systems of violence).
See:  The Kingdom Of God Is Within You, by Leo Tolstoy (Mahatma Gandhi's teacher).
