I see on the news that Kinky Friedman was coy about whether he will run for Texas Governor in a recent Mensa speech. I spent two hours interacting with Kinky at the Lone Star Film Festival last November, and he told me he was definitely running this next cycle for Texas Governor as a "Democrat," as his independent run had come up insufficient.
I look forward to seeing him again on the campaign trail, and I hope he will join me in not taking the oath if elected.
