Bob Hope Drive

I'm in a motel for the evening near Bob Hope Drive in Thousand Palms, California.  The truck stop where I parked has the customary couple of homeless.  I gave one a $20 bill (the woman), as is my custom, and the other had to settle for an extra taco.

The man down the street, who got the taco, told me he had a Class B commercial driver's license but lost it recently.  There are many homeless truckers who got themselves nailed in an unmarked construction zone and the like.  What would have been a very innocent payment of a ticket ten years ago is now a spiraling event, putting drivers into the streets, as they are not naturally given to other types of work.  It's sad to watch good drivers crucified by the state for the state's own error.  But as long as the state exists, the powerful will herd us to their whim.

Swear not/ Do not take oaths (ends the state and all its systems of violence).
