Well, I made it to Little Rock, Arkansas today, so Austin is possible; however, a truck stop nearest Austin is in Jarrell, Texas, 24 miles north. I'll need a ride to make Austin.
I'm looking at the email from the National LP, and it looks like the Waco event is past, and I'm not finding anything for the 4th. I guess it was an old list? Never mind, maybe.
