Dear Mr. President:
When one receives the endorsement for elected office of the "Intellectual of the Age" (Dr. Noam Chomsky), I think you will agree that even a former President of the United States should give pause, a very long pause.
You see, a little over a hundred years ago, Leo Tolstoy wrote a book that would transform a young lawyer, M. K. Gandhi, into the Mahatma of India and set into motion a non-violent approach that would revolutionize everything on earth, abrogating the violence of Marx and Keynes for the green fields of stateless libertarianism. The Kingdom Of God Is Within You, represents an examination of Jesus Christ's Sermon on the Mount and what this Kingdom suggests to human government.
My run for Texas Governor is centered around the central plank of Tolstoy's book: Do not take oaths (ends the state and all its systems of violence). I am also including all five planks I discern from the Sermon on the Mount for your reading, although they have no direct bearing on my plan to follow the instruction to not take the oath of office if elected Governor of Texas.
The result of a society of non-oath takers is the abolition of the state, according to Tolstoy and in the example of Gandhji in his dealings to throw off British Colonialism, and will develop into a free market economic engine I suggest to be similar to Milton Friedman's Hong Kong. Education through private endeavor and tit for tat economic relationships will control overpopulation, food production and distribution, crime, climate change concerns, etc., etc.
I look forward to your endorsement for my run for Texas Governor.
Most respectfully,
Gene Chapman,
Tolsotyan-Gandhian Libertarian for Texas Governor
(Endorsed by Dr. Noam Chomsky)
