Question for Gene Chapman

Question:  "Mr. Chapman, if we do away with the government, what will happen to the nuclear bombs we have in stock here in the US?"

Answer:  Under my thinking, local villages of perhaps 200 people will supervise their communities with the advice of local universities.  The nuclear bombs will be either turned over to these universities or a decision on the village level will be made to do with the bombs what they think appropriate.  Keep in mind that for my conception of human government to exist, we will be in a very different non-violent emotional and intellectual space than we are now.

I would remind you that anything like a weapon, wealth, excessive beauty, etc. can be used as a tool of coercion.  This coercion is something we want to avoid, from a Gandhian perspective.
