I am very proud of the effort to shut down the Federal Government. Dr. Chomsky and I both wish it could be permanent (both of us being philosophical anarchists), but I know that won't happen until we decide, as a nation, that Marxism and all forced collectivism is violence and that violence is illegitimate to a Truth-centric society, Truth being seminal to Peace.
The new income tax (Obamacare) represents a further expansion of one of the three primary dynamics of slavery in antiquity (taxation of labor/ 2nd plank of "The Communist Manifesto"). It is my hope today, here in Amarillo, to push the idea that individual liberty is the only credible non-violent path forward for human civilization.
From Ludwig von Mises to Milton Friedman, the evidence is in that forced collectivism of every sort is not the path ahead to a sustainable world. Education is. And that education must be free market-based, not a representation of the state, the self-interested state being the most violent and coercive thing on earth.
