Today's Activities

I'm back at home in Texas with a desire to get back to a job that pays the bills.  Prices seem to be more realistic away from California and Arizona.

I've been thinking about a class for the fall, maybe Economics.

Watering restrictions here are a permanent thing, it appears.  The days of nice St. Augustine grass lawns may be coming to an end in a few years.

I'll be mailing some Gandhian booklets to my contact associated with the Mexican Cartels today.  I think a focus on Truth and Non-violence is a real possibility there.

U. S. Closing Bases

This morning, I see that the Sunday morning talk shows are all buzzing about the announced closure of various embassies around the world due to chatter from Yemen.  More attacks against America are being proposed, I see.

Like Fundamentalist Christianity and Keynesian-Marxism, Fundamentalist Islam teaches violence on certain levels.  This violence is the central problem.  We must recognize that violence is illegitimate to Truth, as that which comes from Truth is peace.  Like eating a fish, we must separate the Truth (meat) from the violence (bones).

Just as I told the figure from the Mexican Drug Cartels in our meeting to begin peace talks last Friday night:  "Two and two is four.  We have both internalized this to be true, so there is peace between us on this fact that two and two is four."  I continued, "What Gandhian Philosophy seeks to do is to find this 'two and two is four' level of internalized truth on every point of presumed disagreement and make peace the order of the day."

The state conception of life defends that which is less than truth only, as it is motivated by power groups.  What will bring peace between peoples is not power, but Truth Only, who is God.

If you want peace, abolish the state/ abolish the power center and focus on Truth Only.

Theology of the Cartels

As I began to dig into the theology of the cartels, I found that Santa Murete has been adopted by the Mexican Drug Cartels in part because these groups have been marginalized by the main stream.  Santa Muerte, the female deity of the dead, may be worshipped a couple of ways:  1)  as benign, a simple recognition that death is a very true thing;  2)  She may also be worshipped because she has satanic potential in her look and relationship with death.

This second purpose is to drive fear into the outsiders, I feel.  If you can't be a good white sheep, then be a very good black sheep.

The cartels have been dealt with as if their views and business are to be opposed by the governments, Catholic Church and everything that is so called, "good."  As a Gandhian, I see the truths in all religions as being God, who is Truth Only.  There are aspects of all religions that are less than truth.  We must, like eating a fish, eat the good meat and leave the bones on the shelf until they are internalized to be Truth, assuming they ever are internalized.

Until this internalization takes place, we must recognize that "one man's righteousness is another man's evil, and vice versa" (Tolstoy).  Therefore, we must not judge one another (make legal determinations) in the slightest thing.

This is the starting place of peace.

Chapman Begins Peace Talks With Mexican Drug Cartels

I'm back in Dallas, and I just had my first talk with a leading figure related to the Mexican Drug Cartels.  He informs me that he will carry my message for a focus on Truth and Non-violence between all parties involved in the matters back to the border.

He informs me that the religion central to the cartels has to do with Santa Muerte, a female deity of the dead.  I related several similarities with Gandhian Philosophy (i. e. "Death is Truth," and "all religions contain truth, else they would have no followers"), and this seems to have provided an opened door to further examination of the truths found in both religions.

There is a conflict between three cartels whom I hope to convince to "render not evil for evil" against one another.

Again, my five point plan:

My Five Point Plan if Elected Texas Governor

1)  Swear not/ Do not take oaths (ends the state and all its systems of violence).

2)  Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth (mitigates envy and covetousness and refocusses life on the family and community).

3)  Render not evil for evil (ends war).

4)  Go not to law (ends the legal system).

5)  Judge not, condemn not (ends bigotry, discrimination, the prison system and the death penalty).

Conclusion:  Peace on earth.

Made it to El Paso

I'm back in Texas in El Paso early in the morning.  The bus riding community is something out of a science fiction novel.  I could sit and write about these people in bus stations the rest of my life, and in a positive eclectic way.

Bus stations are not designed with ergonomic consideration, both a traveling restaurant manager and I agreed.  Greyhound could do a lot better for the people.  But one can see that they are limited by the bureaucracy of layered management.

Guess who I met at the Phoenix Bus Station.  He's from El Paso, Texas, heading to a bull fighting gig at the Forum in LA.

Heading Back to Texas

Well, I'm about to turn my truck in here in Phoenix and head back to Texas on a Greyhound bus.  I can't buy a house for my old age on a $50 bill after seven days of trucking, so a change is required.

Sad, I really enjoy driving the West, but Mr. Bernanke won't let us live free of his foolishness at the central bank.  You can't afford what the central bank steals from you through monetary expansion and resulting price inflation.  

I also noticed that my taxes went from $100 a week to $200 a week on the road.  But it's up to us to end it.
